Kristen Noel Kristy Swanson, an American actor, is most well-known for her portrayals of Buffy Summers and Rebecca Becky Granger. She has also appeared as the characters in the TV film Nightingales as well as the NBC show of similar name (which lasted only a few episodes), Erica Paget on the CBS Drama Early Edition, and Marlowe Viccellio from Psych. Being a native of California, Swanson was interested in acting as a young girl. Her career began in the field of advertising where she appeared in several commercials. Her first appearance on screen in 1984 for an NBCs It's Your Move episode. A year later when she appeared on the romantic comedy Pretty in Pink of 1986 the actress made her screen debut. Her most famous feature is her blonde hair and the breathless voice that she employs. Since then, Swan has moved to acting in secondary roles. Flowers in the Attic won her the Young Artist Award in the category of the Best Young Actress in Horror or Mystery Motion Picture in 1989.
