Richard Bruce Cheney was born in Lincoln Nebraska on January 30 1941 the son of Richard Herbert Cheney and the former Marjorie Lauraine Dickey. He moved in Casper, Wyoming with his family in the year 13 when he turned thirteen. His dad, who was employed by the U.S. Department of Agriculture headed the soil conservation district located in Casper.
